High-speed rail sleepers
Project Overview
High-speed rail sleepers and track foundation structures endure repeated dynamic loads and vibration impacts from high-speed trains over the long term, placing extremely high demands on the flexural, impact, and fatigue resistance of concrete. Incorporating steel fibers into precast sleeper and track foundation concrete can significantly improve the flexural and fatigue resistance of the structure, reduce sleeper cracking, and extend track service life.
Steel Fiber Solutions
It is recommended to use single hooked-end or copper-coated micro-wire steel fibers. Hooked-end steel fibers have a length of 40-60mm and a dosage of 30-50kg/m³, suitable for precast sleeper production; copper-coated micro-wire has a length of 13-20mm and a dosage of 40-80kg/m³, suitable for high-performance track foundation concrete, providing ultra-high strength and durability.
Application Advantages
Improved Flexural Strength
Sleeper flexural strength is increased by 20-30%, effectively resisting train impact loads.
Enhanced Fatigue Resistance
Fatigue cycles are increased by more than 5 times, extending track service life.
Crack Control
Reduces sleeper cracking and spalling, improving traffic safety.
Precasting Efficiency
Steel fiber concrete is suitable for mechanized precast production, improving sleeper production efficiency.
