Cross-sea bridge
Project Overview
The bridge deck pavement of a cross-sea bridge is subjected to the dual erosion of vehicle dynamic loads and the marine environment over the long term, placing extremely high demands on the impact resistance, fatigue resistance, and corrosion resistance of concrete. Incorporating steel fibers into bridge deck pavement concrete can effectively improve the overall performance of the structure, reduce cracking and spalling of the pavement layer, and extend the service life of the bridge.
Steel Fiber Solution
It is recommended to use glued hooked-end or loose hooked-end steel fibers, with a fiber length of 35-60mm and a dosage of 30-60kg/m³. Glued hooked-end steel fibers are bonded into rows with water-soluble adhesive and automatically disperse without clumping during mixing, making them suitable for high-flowability high-performance concrete; hooked-end steel fibers have excellent anchoring performance, providing stronger pull-out resistance in the bridge deck pavement layer.
Application Advantages
Improved Impact Resistance
The impact resistance of the bridge deck is significantly improved, effectively resisting vehicle loads and ship collisions.
Corrosion Resistance
Combined with high-performance concrete, it meets the durability requirements under chloride ion erosion environments.
Extended Fatigue Life
The fatigue resistance cycles of the pavement layer are increased, significantly extending the service life of the bridge deck.
Reduced Maintenance Frequency
Reduces bridge deck cracking and spalling, lowering maintenance and renovation frequency.
