Industrial flooring
Project Overview
Industrial floors are subjected to repeated rolling and impact from forklifts, heavy equipment, and racks over the long term, making them prone to cracking, dusting, and wear. Adding steel fibers to floor concrete can significantly improve the crack resistance, impact resistance, and wear resistance of the floor, reduce surface cracking and dusting, extend the service life of the floor, and lower maintenance costs.
Steel Fiber Solution
It is recommended to use glued hooked-end or milled steel fibers, with a fiber length of 30-50mm and a dosage of 20-40kg/m³. Glued hooked-end steel fibers are bonded into rows with water-soluble adhesive and automatically disperse without clumping during mixing, making them especially suitable for large-area floor pouring; milled steel fibers have a rough surface and strong bonding force, making them suitable for heavy-duty floors with higher wear resistance requirements.
Application Advantages
Improved Crack Resistance
The crack resistance of the floor is significantly improved, reducing shrinkage cracks and construction joints.
Enhanced Wear Resistance
Wear resistance is enhanced, reducing surface dusting and abrasion.
Impact Resistance
Improves the impact resistance of the floor, withstanding rolling by forklifts and heavy equipment.
Extended Service Life
The service life of the floor is extended, reducing renovation and maintenance frequency.
